Varun gave three invited talks at IEEE BHI.

Varun was invited to give three talks at various special sessions and workshops at the International Conference on Biomedical Health Informatics (BHI) in Atlanta.

The first talk was on “Detecting Receptivity for mHealth Interventions” at the “Intelligent and timely health support outside the clinic” special session organized by Drs. Asim Gazi, Ziping Xu, and Susan Murphy.

The second talk was on “Are EMAs sufficient to identify episodic events” at the Workshop on “Digital Health Technologies and AI for Studying and Predicting Episodic Health Events,” organized by Dr. Ryan McGinnis.

The thirs talk was on “The Opportunities and Challenges of Wearables for Autonomic Nervous System Signals” at the “Digital Biomarker Discovery Pipeline – Autonomic: integrating multimodal data into Autonomic Nervous System signal analysis” special session organized by Dr. Jessilyn Dunn’s lab. This talk was based on our recent collaborative perspective paper on a vision for standardization and reproducibility in physioloigcal signal analyses.
