Ha receives Northeastern's Outstanding PhD Student Award in Humanics

Congratulations to Ha for receiving Northeastern University’s Outstanding PhD Student Award in Humanics for 2026. This award recognizes graduate students who, through their education, have integrated human literacy with data and technology in their learning or research.

Ha is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science, co-advised with Prof. Stephen Intille. Her research focuses on developing human-in-the-loop systems for tracking and measuring physical activity and everyday behaviors using wearable devices.
